LimoLiner is the brainchild of owner Fergus McCann, a highly successful
businessman who made his first fortune in the international travel business.
After logging more frequent flyer miles around the world than he cares
to remember, McCann decided that there had to be a better way to travel
short distances, of say, 200 miles, than going by plane.
After all, in Europe, it’s common for travelers, even business
travelers, to travel via luxury bus services for short distances. He asked
himself why didn’t such services exist in America?
For over a year McCann searched for the right route and the right vehicle
to bring this concept to the States.
Thus LimoLiner was started to serve the busy Northeast Corridor, between
Boston and New York. Hundreds of thousands of people travel this190 mile
stretch each year. If Limoliner could make the journey in about the same
time (door-to-door) that it takes to fly, train or drive, then McCann
was willing to build the vehicles and the services and see if customers
would come.
The company was incorporated in Massachusetts in 2003. Each custom-designed
LimoLiner is built to exacting standards to make the journey not just
comfortable, but productive.
We are constantly developing new relationships to serve you better, in
addition to our already well-established association with Hilton Hotels.
