LIMOLINER
EXPERIENCES RAPID GROWTH IN 2005;
POISED
FOR CONTINUED EXPANSION IN 2006
Passenger
Count Increases 32 Percent Over Previous Year
BOSTON,
Mass., January 31, 2006 -- LimoLiner Inc., the luxury road travel
service operating between the Hilton Back Bay Hotel in Boston and the
Hilton New York, today released data on its growth and success in 2005.
The
LimoLiner service, which was launched in October of 2003, carried 24,573
passengers in just its second full year of operation, up 32 percent over
2004. LimoLiner also ended the year with a 92 percent on-time record,
as well as a 100 percent safety record. In a head-to-head survey
of the largest ground transport providers using Department of Transportation
data, LimoLiner was recognized as having a perfect vehicle safety inspection
record and its drivers had the best rating of any carrier by a wide margin.
"LimoLiner
continues to win increasing numbers of loyal passengers based on our outstanding
level of professional personal service," said Peter Pescatore, LimoLiner's
CEO. "It's clear we're meeting a strong need in the marketplace
for an elegant and civilized alternative to air or rail travel that enables
passengers to remain productive while on the road with our free
wireless Internet access and live TV. 2005 was a record year for
us and we expect to continue to build on that success in 2006."
Responding
to increasing demand, LimoLiner will expand its fleet of custom built
luxury Liners in late spring of 2006. Its schedule will then be
expanded to include daily late afternoon departures from Boston and early
morning departures from NYC. The improved frequency will increase
weekly capacity by more than half and is expected to go into effect starting
July 1st.
