A Brief History of LimoLiner.

LimoLiner is the brainchild of owner Fergus McCann, a highly successful businessman who made his first fortune in the international travel business. He is also a former chairman and majority shareholder of the Celtic Football Club in Scotland. Fergus is a believer in the old saying that “necessity is the mother of invention.”

In this case, he saw the need for a better way of traveling after logging millions of miles around the globe. He became increasingly fed up with the poor service, mindless interruptions and uncomfortable conditions he encountered along the Boston to New York corridor during the past few years.

He experienced frequent delays, long lines and overcrowded terminals; cramped seats, lost luggage, and rising stress levels; no hot water and restrooms unkempt at the end of the day.

After venting his frustrations once too often to uncaring travel providers — most of whom didn’t even bother to listen — he decided that enough was enough: he could do a far better job.
